Stroud Squash Club was founded in 1971 by a group of members of Stroud Rugby Club. The commitment of these members enabled construction of two "Banbury" style squash courts at the Fromehall Park ground where the club played for nearly 50years until the end of 2020. From 2021 the club is relocating to Wycliffe College where it will now be based.

The Club offers Squash and Racketball and is open to all ranges of ability through an annual membership fee. The move to Wycliffe will enable us to collaborate with the Squash Academy at the school and to offer a structured junior coaching programme to all abilities. We will also be offering tailored coaching programmes for adults.

We have 3 teams playing the Gloucestershire Winter Squash leagues and usually enter 2 teams in the summer league. Our 1st team plays in the premier league whilst our lower teams provide opportunities for those developing their game to gain experience on competitive squash at an inter club level.

We are keen to hear from anyone who is interested in joining the club and welcome new members.
